Abstract

This paper presents a review of the critical and foundational project on Quranic Sciences in Al-Yamany’s book Qur’anic Sciences: A Critique of Scientificity and An Approach to Its Structure by highlighting his most important theses, which centered on two studies: the first of which relates to an expanded methodological evaluation of the Qur’anic Sciences and an explanation of the aspects of the methodological defect that has occurred in it and how to deal with it. The second of them is related to evaluating what has been achieved in the methodological structure of the Qur’anic Sciences, and proposing a new vision for building these sciences. The book is concluded with a methodological discussion about an integrated vision for rebuilding the Qur’anic Sciences.
