Publication Code of Conduct
- The Journal adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
The editor-in-chief, editorial director, editors, researchers, and reviewers have tasks and duties, which cannot be overlooked or bypassed. Integration between these parties is the basis of work in the Journal. They are detailed as follows:
- In consultation with the editorial director, the competent editor, and the members of the advisory board, the editor-in-chief shall confidentially select the jury, based on the exact subject of the research and the arbitrator's specialization;
- The Journal has an editorial board whose members are experienced, professional, knowledgeable, honest and efficient. They maintain the confidentiality and privacy of the work. Together with the editor-in-chief, they contribute to improving the work, achieving the goals of the journal, selecting the reviewers, reviewing and auditing the research to decide if it is valid before referring it to arbitration, and then they choose the arbitrators;
- The researcher shall guarantee the quality, accuracy and originality of his/her research and that it is free from scientific and technical errors, research misconduct and scientific plagiarism. He/She shall also commit to arranging his/her research in accordance with the applicable scientific standards;
- The researcher shall commit to the announced publishing conditions and be solely responsible for any breach of that;
- The researcher shall commit to follow the recommendations of the arbitrators accurately;
- The arbitration process is one of the most important stages of publication;
- Research is subject to a double-blind arbitration process, so that the arbitrator does not know who the researcher is, nor does the researcher know who the arbitrator is;
- The arbitrator shall commit to confidentiality and not to disclose the results of the arbitration to those who are not authorized by the Journal;
- The arbitrators shall carry the exact specialization closely related to the research and hold higher academic degrees and be known for their integrity, experience and professionalism;
- The research shall be evaluated by two arbitrators according to the arbitration form prepared by the Journal;
- Each arbitrator prepares a detailed report on the research, including its integrity, originality, and freedom from research misconduct;
- In the event that the opinions of the arbitrators differ regarding the research acceptance or rejection, it shall be referred to a third arbitrator. Accordingly, the Journal's management takes the appropriate decision;
- The Journal shall confidentially deal with the reports of the arbitrators and not allow access to them except for those authorized to do so;
- The editor-in-chief, editor and arbitrator shall disassociate themselves from any bias or personal interests; and
- The research published in the Journal expresses the opinions of its researchers only.
