Philosophical Concepts between Evidence and Attribution: A reading of The Spirit of Philosophy, by Hammu Naqari
Abstract
The article presents a review of the book The Spirit of Philosophy by Hammu Naqari, which was published by the Arab Foundation for Thought and Creativity in 2017. It is 105 pages long and consists of five chapters, an introduction, and conclusions. He believes that philosophizing is a human act similar to most human actions that occur from the will and forethought of its owner. The book, The Spirit of Philosophy, follows the path of exploring the theoretical mechanisms and concepts that philosophers used in defining and building their theories, firstly, and the way of introducing them and explaining them to the Arab reader, secondly. Al-Naqari concluded his book with a number of points in which he explained that philosophy in terms of its spirit is permissible for all rational people, and permeates all research in all theoretical research. It is unreasonable to oppose this act, even in contradiction with Mann's philosophy, in the hope that this act will be of particular benefit and interest in the deliberative aspect and openness to other deliberative fields.
