Abstract
This study explores the concept of friendship in Rasā’il Ikhwān al-Ṣafā’ as a foundational model for ethical politics and societal organization within Islamic heritage. Using a historically grounded analytical and interpretive method, the research examines the intellectual framework of the Epistles, the meaning of friendship within them, and the political dynamics among companions. It reveals that the Epistles articulate a deep and refined vision of friendship, emphasizing harmony and ethical companionship as central to their legacy. The authors viewed ethical integrity as essential for forming friendships, embedding their group within strict moral boundaries. Ultimately, the Epistles demonstrate a successful fusion of theory and practice in constructing a covert, ethically structured human society.
