Issues of Terminology: Between Interpretation, Utilization, and Translation
Abstract
This report aims to review the proceedings of the Third International Conference on "Issues of Terminology: Between Interpretation, Utilization, and Translation." The conference was organized by the Laboratory of Islamic Thought and Translation at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Ibn Msik, in collaboration with the Moroccan Center for Educational Studies and Research and the International Institute of Islamic Thought. It took place on May 9th and 10th, 2023, at the Abdullah Al-Arwi Space in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Ibn Msik, Hassan II University in Casablanca, Morocco. This event included an opening lecture and several research papers presented in three academic sessions. It addressed terminology issues from various perspectives and fields of knowledge, including Quranic sciences, theology, values, principles of jurisprudence, contemporary hermeneutics, jurisprudence, purposes of Sharia, and translation.
