Abstract

This report aims to present the proceedings of the conference entitled: “Towards a comprehensive curriculum for the Divine Revelation and human sciences (Part I): epistemological foundations”, that was organized by the curriculum research team at the Eastern Regional Center for Educational Professions in partnership with the Academy of Intellectual and Education Studies, the Laboratory for Science Curriculum in Islamic Civilization in the Faculty of Arts, Wajda, and the Laboratory for Sharia Sciences and Human Issues at the Multidisciplinary Faculty, the University of Moulay Ismail. The conference included a number of talks presented by specialists on the relation of Divine Revelation and human sciences from various aspects. The most important outcomes and recommendations of the conference include: conducting deeper studies on the philosophy of Islamic sciences in order to  highlight areas and scope of Divine Revelation and its impact on people to show the link between such Divine science and human sciences; evaluating dissertations and educational experiences that are concerned with Islamic knowledge, knowledge integration, bridging the gap between theory and practice based on knowledge integration, and that evaluation be based on reconstruction of thought; and strengthening partnerships with Arab, Islamic and international academic centers to support the project of developing a comprehensive curriculum.
