Towards the Concept of Secular Criticism
Abstract
This text is taken from a larger text entitled "Freedom of Expression, Injury, and Secular Criticism", which he shared with other writers in a book entitled "Is Critique Secular? Blasphemy, Injury, and Freedom of Expression". The book was originally a seminar at the University of California, Berkeley (2007). It focused on the reactions to the Danish cartoons insulting to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in 2005.
