Integration of Knowledge and its Role in Understanding Religion

Abstract

This research aims to study the integration of knowledge and its role in understanding religion. It dealt with the most important relevant concepts, cognitive integration and its feasibility, the complementary basis of science and knowledge, the interaction between human knowledge and religious knowledge, the renewed reading between truth and the stability of religion, and the necessity of changing religious knowledge. The research concluded that looking at the discourse of revelation and the texts of religion from the standpoint of the integration of knowledge and the compatibility of sciences makes human receiving these texts and discourses effortless, just as it makes his understanding of a work sufficiently deep and comprehensive, and with the necessary vitality and flexibility. This is because the human understanding of the texts of revelation and interaction with them takes place within the framework of their general purposes and holistic dimensions that include the worlds of man and the universe alike on the one hand. On the other hand, understanding is an activity that seeks more discoveries in the light of development in the various scientific sections and the multiple fields of knowledge from which the theories, methods, means and concepts that enable reading the religious text to be read live and renewed with the renewal of ages and times.
