Is it Possible to Create a Highly-Skilled Society Based on the Policy of Education and Vocational Training? A Look at the Dangers of Development with a One-Sighted View
Abstract
This research addresses the importance of integrated consideration in managing development plans that depend on the success of vocational education and training policies in a given society. It also shows the danger of neglecting the social and cultural components that support a smooth transition to the expected results of these development plans. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to look at and understand the challenges of the global economy as a whole, and to formulate development plans, vocational education and training policies arranged in light of the pros and cons of the challenges. Because the research is more concerned with avoiding the repetition of the negatives adopted by other countries, it seeks to highlight the pitfalls of unilateral consideration in the aforementioned development planning and its repercussions on the culture of society as a whole. The research concluded that the world has become highly complex and highly affected by extremely precise circumstances. Attempts to create a stable, highly skilled society through a well-defined vocational education and training policy are more like a dream than an achievable goal, though they are possible.
