Abstract

This research paper focuses on the theory of Cognitive Intersection in social science through the application of the ideas of Zygmunt Baumann as a model. Recently, the theory of Cognitive Intersection has been very popular among scientists and epistemologists. This is due to the fact that this theory has the capacity to push knowledge and science forward. It also helps coordinate all efforts between disciplines for finding practical solutions to various problems since from the very outset invitations were made to such kind of thinking within the framework of comprehensiveness. Among all those thinkers famous for adopting such methods is Polish thinker Zygmunt Baumann who is  known for his familiarity with various fields of sciences. This advantage enabled him  to later on form new theories in the field of social sciences. Hence, this paper tries to present Cognitive Intersection as a newly required theory in the philosophy of the Polish Baumann. One can briefly assume that Baumann’s theory of social science enabled him to be cognitively intersectional and forced him to use other disciplines.
