Philosophy, Science and Religion: The Most Prominent Crises of Contemporary Philosophy
Abstract
This is the speech with which Cheikh Anta Diop concluded the Conference on Philosophy and Religion, which was organized by the Senegalese Journal of Philosophy, at the University of Dakar from 7 to 8 June 1983 AD. It was published as part of the proceedings of this symposium in the Senegalese Journal of Philosophy, Issue 5-6, January-December 1984 AD, pages: 179-199. In it, he touched on the crisis of reason and the horizons of a new epistemological theory, general philosophical issues, philosophy, science and religion.
