Cognitive and Methodological Foundations for the Study of the Quranic Terminology
Abstract
This research seeks to draw a theoretical framework for the study of the Qur’anic terminology through the studies written by the pioneers in this regard, starting with clarifying the meaning of the term in general, highlighting what is meant by the Qur’anic terminology in particular, showing its importance and the legitimacy of its study, and shedding light on its types. This research also studies the most important cognitive and methodological foundations that the operator of the Qur'anic terminology should not deviate from. It is divided into an introduction, a preface, and two chapters. The first chapter presented the theoretical framework for the foundations and the term, and the second chapter touched on the epistemological and methodological foundations for studying the terms of the Qur’an. It has been inverted that the Qur’anic terminology is a special concept that was not circulated in the tongue of the Arabs before the revelation of the Holy Qur’an, and that studying the Qur’anic terminology within its solid methodological foundations is sufficient to ensure the right path to reach an understanding that matches the divine intent of the Qur’anic speech, without wasting or diluting it.
