Media Education at the University Level: Concepts and Objectives
Abstract
This research aims to study media education at the university level and to identify its concept and objectives. It was divided into an introduction and chapters. The research dealt with the concept of awareness, media education, its origin and development, its foundations, its objectives, and its importance at university. It concluded that we live in a small village today, which is dominated by an environment saturated with various media outlets that broadcast ideological and politicized contents through which the objectives, strategies, visions and interests of the communicator are achieved. Therefore, awareness of education, culture and media literacy is essential.
